I scheduled my laproscopy for this Thursday, day 11 of my cycle. I was so nervous! I had lots of kind words of encouragement and support from my friends as well as bloggers. Thank you all so much for being there. Although I may not know some of you in person, it is so great to know that somebody understands what I am going through. God bless.
Last week I had lunch with an old friend. She recommends me to see this Chinese physician who sells herbs for all sorts of ailments. He is also able to treat infertility. She had recommended her friends there, whom had some sort of fertility problems, and they all conceived within 3 months! So I went to see him.
He is a young fellow, who has a little shop at Carrefour Subang Jaya. I just told him that I had problems conceiving. Then he asked if I had seen the doctor, I said yes, and told him about the whole problem with ovulating. After that he examined me. All he did was read my pulse. He said that I had low blood pressure, weak ovaries and when I have my period, I don’t completely clear off all the menstrual blood. He says that it affects the ability for the egg to plant into the uterus lining. Also, due to my weak ovaries, I may have problems ovulating. Also, my hormones are not balanced.
It made a lot of sense. He told me that the herbal medicines that he prescribes are all natural. It will naturally balance my hormones and normalize my blood pressure. From reading my pulse, he was also able to tell that I have no blockages or fibroids. He explained that many of the people who come to see him for meds have similar problems to me. It’s a very simple problem, just requires balancing the hormones. Many of his patients, after taking his meds, conceived between 1 – 3 months after many years of trying.
I thought, I give it a shot. After all, his testimonials are great, which includes the success stories of my friends. The meds are also herbal and there is no risk of side effects. Great alternative to Clomid!!
So we decided to go for it. His meds (also been previously warned by my friend) is VERY expensive. But it works. Mine came up to about RM550.
Besides taking the meds, he also told me to track my basal body temperature. He wants to see the temperature trend as well as at what temperature my body is operating at. From that he is able to adjust my meds accordingly.
With that, I am post poning my laproscopy and see if this works. I am feeling a little bit more positive now and have more hope.
I really hope it works!
